Since Internet Marketing is such a fast moving business, it’s important to stay in the loop. Be aware of what your rivals are doing, what your customers expect, and what’s currently available and in the pipeline.
Put aside a little time each day to research the current activities of your competitors and discover what’s `hot` right now. Although many “new” products are just updates or a new twist on an old technique, you’ll at least be able to jump on new promotions (if you’re an affiliate marketer) or perhaps get ideas for your own products (if you’re a product creator).
You can also learn new techniques - either directly, or from emulating others!

Along with the big Forums and the newsletters you are subscribed to, and as well as a great site called IMNewsWatch these are great places to stay in the loop, and in on the current buzz.
For a quick way to stay up to date try setting your homepage to some RSS-Feed service (they’re everywhere these days, even Google’s startpage let’s you do this) and add the feeds to it. Hey presto - you have a start page full of the latest marketing news!
