“Pay Per Lead” Affiliate Programs are a good way to earn extra money without having to make a sale. As the name suggests, you are paid per lead – that is, per customer you refer to them.The people running Pay Per Lead affiliate programs know their stats inside and out, which is why they can afford to do this. For example, a mortgage company pay know their conversion is rate is 2%, which means on average 2 in 100 visitors will join.

But they also know that each sale they make is worth on avergage $2,000 to them. That’s $4,000 per 100 visitors

So each visitor is worth $40. They may pay, for example, $15 per lead in this case. (These are only illustrative examples). That would also be their “Cost Per Aquisition” (CPA).

The lifetime value of a customer is much more than the cost to obtain that customer.

Many people are know switching their AdSense Sites – at least in some respects, to advertise Pay Per Lead programs. They payouts are much higher, and since well designed AdSense Sites should be full of content to attract a targeted audience, they’ll work well on these sites.

You aren’t limited to the AdSense Blocks when you use PPL, since your affiliate link can be incorporated anywhere: Banners, Buttons, Tower Ads, but even better linked intrinsically throughout the entire text. You can even get software that will automatically convert every keyword you specify into an affiliate link.

All you need to do is join the affiliate program of the company you want to represent, get your affiliate links, and use them.

Where do you find these companies?

That’s the easy part! Simply search these directories for your industry and see what you come up with! These are mostly general directories, with a mix of pay per lead and pay per sale programs.
