Have you installed this on a website? I have tried to install it on several sites and once I populate the database, I always get the following error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/naturalh/public_html/sql.php on line 1

It does work, but can be buggy. Be sure to set up the SQL Directory correctly as per the instructions. Just log into Cpanel for your site and add a new database, a new user + password for that database, and install the included SQL code to create it.
Sometimes the script seems have to have problems with strange symbols in file names, but apart from that it works fine.
I made a article directory for my Credit Repair site which you can see at:

I too have the source for article site builder, but I cannot get it to work correctly….
It works fine when you do not use a templage but when you do try to use a template the following happens…
either a load of are put into the code when you use the paste template option. Meaning that Google ads do not display, links do not work and the CSS cannot be called
Or when using a VAILD url I get the following message…
You must supply a VALID url for the article template.
You must supply a VALID url for the index template.
Please go back and correct errors.
Have you actually had it working with a template?

Yes, here:

But…
It’s pretty unpredictable. One or two things I notice: Some articles have titles that use html tags such as bold or H1, and when the software converts the titles into filenames it can mess it up.
Also the page thats supposed to come up to basically show a `completed` message never appears, but when I check the directory the articles are supposed to be in they are there.
The software is pretty rough around the edges, and it was promoted heavily as part of the “private label” source code package a few weeks back, but there isn’t much information on the software on the net. I’ve a feeling most people bought it to resell and never run it, or there would be more cries for help out there!
The software does work but it really needs to be tidied.

Hello again,
Thanks for your reply. Glad you have it working. Do you know who’s product this originally was? I think maybe I have been given a copy of the code with bugs in it.
My software is creating pages like this… (index page)
http://www.money-making-system.info/articles/online-business/
Check the source code, it is putting in all over the place and the links are there but do not show on the website. (along with everything else)
I have tried calling the template from a URL
http://www.money-making-system.info/indexpage.html
But apparantly that is not a valid URL??
If I do not use a template at all then it “works” and the links show, but it creates pages that no-one would read and I cannot make any income from (Google ads)
We both paid for the code, yours clearly works, mine clearly doesn’t. Would it be ok for you to send me a copy of the code you got?
Maybe that is a little cheaky, but this is driving me nuts! My email is asb@moneypumps.net
Thanks
Dan
P.S. I can prove that I did actually purchase the source code and it would really help me out.

Quick question…
Looking over the code, it looks link ASB is supposed to work with 3 content sites…
articlecity
ezinearticles
goarticles
Does yours work with all 3? Mine only works with 2 (not ezinearticles).
Which makes me think even more, that my code has been sabotaged before I received it.
August 8th, 2005 @ 10:39 am
Yes, 2 Article Directories. I doubt the code is `sabotaged` but rather – and this is just an guess – the other article directory was removed because of compatibility errors.
And in answer I doubt very much my copy is any different to anyone elses, but I didn’t buy it when the originally “Private Label Source Code” offer was released. Rather, I had it later from a reseller. Send my your email and some proof you paid for a copy and I’ll gladly send you my copy to compare.
It’s a shame this product is proving to be buggy since it’s a very good idea and there isn’t much like it around. There are content-based auto site builders but they usually create sites around RSS feeds and content you input (or it grabs from pages). I bet it would only take the original programmer a very short time to make these fixes, but who exactly is the original programmer? …
