This week I'm letting you in on what's working for me, and why I
choose these programs. Most of these programs I've `pitched` to
you in the past, and many of you have joined. I'm a paid-up
member of all of them so I can give you honest facts!
One of my current best performers is eBay. I've been working
eBay by offering items for sale and back-ending other offers
onto them. It's a great marketing technique that works well with
this medium. The items I sell on ebay actually barely cover the
listing costs, but now and again one will make a little profit.
Over a week, this can add up. Then, in every `winning bid` email
I send out I provide two back-end offers. These are for Push
Button Publishing and Free Software Forever. These work well for
eBay buyers as they are resale clubs that provide the buyer with
a lot more software. I also provide an opportunity to join this
ezine.
Another surprisingly good seller is the Unlimited PayPal Profits
ebook. This is free to give away, but anyone who wants to take
part pays $10 which goes direct to the provider. There's also a
Member-2-Member PayPal system you can promote along with it, and
offering the PayPal book can also build a nice, responsive list

Smaller, but steady, incomes come from various affiliate
programs from Commission Junction. These aren't really promoted
as such, but are embedded into various pages and sites that I
own. It costs nothing to do this and is easy to use and find
applicable merchants. One category that pays well is the online
finance / loans / credit cards companies. Commission Junction
offers so many programs you could run your online business
directly from them!
Finally most of the other programs I promote are covering their
costs and making profits. Total Marketing Live is still being
tweaked (from the Cash Evolution takeover) so its too early to
say with that. MegaOpp hasn't paid yet but I've had a nice
downline, mainly from spillover (from getting in early!) and its
costs are covered. If you're ever invited early into a program (
and you're sure you are *really* are getting in early) it's well
worth thinking seriously about it! At the early levels spillover
does work.
CashCulture is also self-financing now. More promotion will do
wonders with this program as I feel it is pretty strong. The one
I have my main doubts with is Empowerism. I'm impressed with
their training and actually look forward to their emails, but as
yet not much in the way of signups. They do provide free leads
every month and the offer of a free copy of their magazine does

PermaWorld appeals to those who want to feel good about their
business, and since this is a charity as well as an opportunity
it's the perfect program to promote to them. ISORegister is
another great choice to work with since its low price gives it
wide appeal. I can see this one expanding massively in the
future!
No success yet with PushButton Leads but it is fulfilling its
main purpose, and is generating subscribers! Many, many people
report good incomes with this program and as it's recurring and
paid DIRECT to you it's something I'll *definitely* be working

And, lastly, EzineBlaze. Again, it's covering its costs. When it
started it exploded extremely rapidly, but like all programs of
this kind it has slowed just as dramatically! Still, I've got a
free debit card to which commissions are paid so it's not all
bad. EzineBlaze for those who don't know is a kind of advanced
safelist, where PRO members can mail every new user that signs

you join Jerome Chapman's 1HourWealth list. Every Monday you
will receive a new Ad Results page that details the program and
ad that was run and how many signups it made. Get this from http://www.1hourwealth.com - I also hear that Terry Deans
Netbreakthroughs site offers the same kind of service. That's a
site I may join in the future just to check it out, since a lot
of big names swear by it!

Google's paid for ad program, Adwords, now provides your ads to
other big sites. This means that instead of just appearing next
to search listings your ad will also appear on targeted content

already at least one similar system out there (Surfquest) but
Mikes screensaver has a large viral and downline building

This week I've included the excellent tips from Mr Fanta$tic
again. I'm thinking of including these in every issue as I'm
sure you'll agree they're great little pieces of advice. Let me
know what you think.
POSITIVE TIP from Mr. Fanta$tic
Possibly the greatest Gift that we've been given by our
Creator, is the Power of Choice. There is almost an endless
list which includes what you feed your Mind and Body, how
you dress, wear your hair, who you associate with, and yes,
even your Attitude. You should welcome Positive influences
and discourage negative ones. Please don't invite people to
dump garbage into your mind. When someone offers; "Did you
hear what happened to . . .", before you choose to give them
permission to share their rumor or gossip, simply ask them;
"No I didn't however before you tell me, is it something that
will make us both feel better and brighten our day?" I'll
guarantee they will go some place else to dump. In addition,
when someone wants to tell you about all of their trials,
troubles, and tribulations, before you choose to listen, you
might say; "By the way, before you tell me everything, I read
the other day that 50% of the people we tell our troubles to
could care less and the other 50% are actually happy that
we're so miserable. Now what did you want to talk about?"
Again, they will head for lower ground to find someone who
wants to be as miserable as they do.
SALES SKILL from Mr. Fanta$tic
Last week we had some great response to the "classic" skill
we shared. Here's another one called the "If I Could Would
You" technique. Many times during the Sales process you
may be asked a question which could actually be a Buying
Question. If you only answer it, all you have is more
conversation and no Sale. On the other hand, you might be
able to actually Close the Sale by using this technique. If
they say; "Can you deliver this by Friday?", instead of just
saying; "yes", you could ask; "If I could make those
arrangements, would you want me to schedule that?" You
can also use several variations such as: If they ask; "Can
you get the payment any lower?", instead of saying; "I'll try",
you could ask; "If I can reduce the monthly investment by
$20 are you ready to get started?" Although no technique
works 100% of the time, this is a "Classic" that should be in
your repertoire.

Selling Back End Products
When selling on the internet ask anyone who really knows and
they will tell you that selling a backend product is where the
money really is. You are looking for repeat customers
they will make up most of your income.
Well what if you only sell one product?
On the internet you have plenty of choices. There are thousands
of affiliate programs out there. They are the perfect backend
product. Find one that matches your site and what you are
selling - for instance I have an herb ezine and I sell targeted
advertising for alternative medicine sources. My perfect
backend product for this site is an herb affiliate program or a
vitamin program, or a weight loss program.
They are all perfect backend products for me. Any of these
programs will bring you extra income with no extra work on you
part. To make the most backend income you need to sell
affiliate products that are related but not competitive to your
product or program.
The best way to sell repeat customers is to follow up on them.
However you don't want hard sell them. Your customers are your
most valued asset and you should let them know this.
-Give them free stuff, for instance I give them a free ad.
If their ad does not do too well I run it again.
-Give them discounts.
If they buy an advertising package I give them discounts.
I always try to give my loyal repeat customers a sale that
no one else gets.
-Offer special bonuses you didn't advertise
Here's a sample outline to follow-up on your customers.
Message 1:
Right after a purchase I follow-up with a thank you letting them
know how they can get other products.
Message 2: 2 Days later - check up
Ask them if everything has gone well with the product and if
they need any help this is where i ask my advertisers if they
got good results from their ad. If not I run it again for free.
Message 3: 2 Days later - surprise bonus
In this email give them a special bonus that was not mentioned
in your sales letter. I give them at this point a free article
about themselves in my ezine. Not only do I get the pleasure of
knowing who they are and what they sell but other subscribers
get to know them. It gives my customer some good advertising.
Win, Win.
Message 4 5 Days later - testimonial letter
Ask them what they though of your product, if they give you good
comment ask if you can quote them. I have a lot of nice words
come to me this way. Which gives me valuable testimonials.
Message 5- 2 weeks later.
I offer them a bonus product maybe a subscription to my paid
ezine at a reduced rate.
I have been allowed to get to know a lot of my loyal customers
really well this way. Building a relationship is what it is all
about.

I haven't actually used this one so I can only go by other
peoples reports and what I've seen at the site. Here's the
basics - it's an advanced online Mail List manager from Cory
Rudl and offers such features as SPAM protection (that is..
protecting you!) and automatic list cleaning, sending, backups
etc. You can host unlimited lists and you can send in any format.
In other words, it's an advanced autoresponder service. It costs
$27 a month which is really no more than others and this one
certainly promises many more features. I almost took the plunge
myself but at the moment I'm happy with my current server. Take
a look, it may be right for you! There's an affiliate program
with it but I haven't given you an affiliate link. I don't use
it so it wouldn't be right ;-)
Targeted at the big work-at-home mom market but applicable to
anyone. This is a nicely laid out site that provides interesting
articles and help on a variety of marketing topics.
Member to Member programs rely on people paying each other, and
usually directly without a third party involved. This one is no
exception. The idea is simple - pay $7.50 to your sponsor and $2.
50 to the program creator. You then get put into rotation and
receive random $7.50 payments to your own PayPal Account.
It's not a business in the strict sense but it is cheap, and
pretty fun to use! Give it a whirl and see how it works for you!
