Pretty cool, uh? Something like that (unfinished as it is) would cost Big Bucks with a web designer. There's no limits and it got me thinking - a tool like this could easily build quick portal pages for all your Affiliate Programs and Links!

Multiple Streams Of Income

Making money on the net is all about leveraging your time and your budget. There is no doubt that great fortunes can be made - but it doesn't happen overnight.

The best way to make the most of the Internet is to work many programs. You can either keep them all seperate or you can combine them, probably choosing programs that compliment each other in some way.

Running multiple systems of wealth creation has it's pros and cons:

FOR

You gain much more potential income, and many people in one program will join you in another. You can build a loyal following.

You are at less risk. If one program appears to be unpopular or not making you any money you can leave it for another and still make an income from the rest.

You won't need to `max out` the programs as many smaller commissions can make up for not earning the maximum in one program.

You'll have many more tools and resources at your disposal from a wide range of different places.

AGAINST

It will take you more money to get started.

It will take you more time to run all the programs.

As you can see there is a lot to gain but two big reasons that make it difficult to start. Most successful marketers use a combination of the two. They start with one program and then begin investing any income back into promotion and working others. By slowly adding different programs as they come along you can build an impressive portfolio.

It's important not to dump a program after you've joined and haven't made anything in the first month. They need time to work, and you should see a snowballing effect taking place as momentum gathers. It's extremely lucrative to get in early in top programs - and the more recognized you become in other downlines the more opportunities you'll receive to do this!

The key to it all is promotion. Let the right people know about the benefits of the programs you are recommending and they will join. At the start invest most of your profit into more promotion (but only the kind that WORKS!) and sit back and watch as the downlines grow. 95% of an Internet Marketers work is Promotion, Marketing and Advertising related.

Most big affiliate marketers have large lists they can market to that are loyal and are probably with the marketer in many programs. They all started small, so don't despair! The ideal situation is when you uncover some strong people in your downline who market just as well as you. These gems can really set your MLMs and Downlines on fire!

Your different `streams` don't even have to be MLM or Affiliate related. You could sell directly, or run a service. Every part of your income counts - it's the combined effect of tens, or even hundreds, of these streams that build into a torrent of cash for you! The more you make, the more you can invest, and everything grows exponentially.

There are a few Marketing Superstars on the Internet and most of them run Multiple Streams of Income. Keep both feet on the ground and grow as you can afford to and you too can join their ranks...

Don't Wait To Go To the Market

I’ll get straight to the point. Take action. Real action. Don't just not do anything. Stop spending your time trying to make everything perfect. You don’t see any procrastinators as the success stories of the Internet and for good reason.

If you have a content website, don't wait until it's finished to market it and introduce it to the public. Because you'll never be "finished" with the website; therefore, you'll never market it and never make any sales or get any signups.

You'll also need to build some steady traffic to the site to see any significant sales/signups and that's not a process that's going to happen overnight. Seeing traffic coming to your site while you continue to add new content or work on your own product to sell will push you that much harder. You'll see that people are actually going to your site and checking things out.

You don't want to be satisfied with your site and then have to wait around for weeks or maybe even months to see anything significant. You'll think your marketing efforts have been for nothing and you'll be tempted to give up too soon before you see any results.

Get your homepage, your newsletter subscriber page/popup box, and some content up at least. That shouldn't take you forever. Then, as you build your site even more, you can also keep in contact with subscribers from your mailing list and keep them updated. You'll have a ready-made audience when you feel confident enough to introduce them to the rest of your site.

Don't allow yourself to get distracted by other things, either. One of my biggest problems is getting distracted by my email filled with newsletters and ezines promising new e-books or contests or specials for subscribers only. I sometimes get so caught up with reading and checking out everything and I can spend hours doing this...for each of my email addresses!

Before I know it, hours go by where I've done absolutely nothing to market my business for the day. That turns into many late nights of only half-assed attempts at marketing and promotion. And me wishing I'd gone to bed earlier for my 8 a.m. class. ;)

As any marketer will probably tell you, even time costs money, especially on the Internet. Every time I dabble and read e-books I really don't need to read at the moment, I lose potential customers to my competitors. And that makes me feel uninspired, because I start to believe I'll never get my feet off the ground.

When you waste time like that, you feel the need to get your product out faster. Or pay for ezine advertising without making sure you have effective ad copy. And then you end up flopping because you weren't careful and you didn't test.

You can talk yourself into doing something just like you can talk yourself out of doing something, so talk yourself into ending the procrastination. Talk yourself into not getting distracted from the task at hand. Know when to put aside the e-books and make a marketing plan. Write down all the marketing ideas you'd like to implement. Tell yourself what you will do to make improvements on your website or your ad copy today.

When you're ready, start off with a couple at a time. If you want to try ezine advertising and writing articles, then do those first.
Then you can move on to other things, like distributing press releases or classified ads somewhere. Don't try to do all the marketing you can at once, build up slowly. But do something, please.

Envision your life the way you want it to be and the way you don't want it to be. Always keep those visions in mind whenever you need to take action but feel like putting it off for one more day.
